Inspection Point Plugs + TML Labels

Designed for OSHA and EPA inspection for corrosion under insulation (CUI) on storage vessels, tanks, and pipelines in power generation, processing and refining operations.

NDTspek’s Inspection Plugs consists of an elastomer (EPDM) sleeve with metal cap, handle, lanyard, and locking ring as standard.

The plug sleeve is available in either EPDM (ethylene propylene) or optional Silicone for higher temperature applications.

Metal caps are available in #5052 aluminum or #304 stainless steel.

Installed for Bio, Chemical, Cold Storage, Pharma, Steam, Oil & Gas, Nuclear, LNG, and Petrochem facilities, tanks, and pipelines.

NDT Inspection Plugs for Non Destructive testing (NDT) inspection and evaluation (NDE) of mechanical integrity + corrosion.

Inspection Plugs are designed for repeat access for NDT inspection of insulated pipes, tanks and vessels.

Once installed, the inspection plug seals the NDT access point with a metal (aluminum or stainless) cap and EPDM elastomer (or silicone) sleeve, creating a moisture-proof barrier.

The barrier protects against corrosion under the insulation (CUI), plus chemical and UV exposure of the elastomer or silicone sleeve.
